60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The United Nations’ theme for this observance is: “Dignity and Justice for All.” Rally at the United Nations in New York City.

Friday, Dec. 26:
First Day of Kwanzaa
The first day of this African-American holiday is dedicated to the principle of Umoja – Unity. Reach out to our African-American brothers and sisters to create unity rallies and other examples of solidarity. Support GLBT African-American activists and organizers. Work hard to bridge the divides and build understanding between our communities.

Monday, Jan. 5 – Friday, Jan. 9:
First Week of the 111st Congress
Tell your representatives we want all our rights in all fifty states. Demand Federal action now. Organize rallies at the US Capitol in Washington, DC and at the local district offices of every member of Congress.
